SOUTH HILL GRAPHICS: LOGO DESIGN
Portfolio and examples of work
Would you like to look unique?
Logo design at South Hill Graphics is done on an individual basis. We use our design skills rather than use templates to create unique and lasting professional logos for your business. After all, you have one or possibly two seconds to convey everything about yourself to your audience through the logo.
Our philosophy is this: logos are like flags to a country. They are individual, long lasting, and need to express who you are well. They are powerful marks.
Here is a questionnaire we usually give our clients to help them help us to target the look and feel of your logo design. If you are looking for a logo from us, expect to answer most, if not all of these questions.
Who are we designing for/targeting?
Define your customer to us. Are they family people, factory workers, professionals, people from ages 35 to 50?
What do you currently think about the marketing sector and the current brand (if there is one)?
If you have a marketing plan going, is it working? What about marketing in your industry, do you like what others in your trade are doing?
What does your customer want us to think about the brand?
Are you a professional company? Are you fun? Are you cozy or cuddly?
What do you want the target audience to do?
When a person sees the logo, should they look to you for advice? Should they think of you as a professional?
What is the single most important value proposition?
Honest. Professional. Knowledgable. Integrity. Words like this help.
How should we speak to the audience?
Do you want to look corporate? Strong? Fun? Honest? Casual? Formal?
Mandatory Elements
If you are a dry cleaner for example, must you have a coat hanger in the logo? If a pet store, a dog or cat?
Requirements
Would like the logo to have blue in it (for example).
Restrictions
Perhaps the typeface "Comic Sans" or "Papyrus" is to be stayed away from.
